Excellent location for visiting Chartres Cathedral.

Reception was sometimes a little busy / un-attentive.

My room was great-sized and featured nice view of the cathedral. The location was stunning, really close to the old part of town, train and city center and the cathedral car park. I ate in the attached restaurant nearby.

The hotel met every demand, I would stay here again and again. This first-rate venue was really clean. - My reasonably large and compact room was equipped with exceptionally comfortable beds, TV and a nice view. - This accommodation was in the central location on a main road. Nice large room. Indeed a suite, with a separate sitting room.

No car park...had to use public underground carpark 200 metres away.

it is situated right on the main square with multiple views of the beautiful city of Chartres. We had a view of the incredible cathedral and the town itself is charming and the people lovely. The hotel was the best value and most spacious of our entire trip (we were all over Brittany, Normandy and Paris). The staff were lovely. My incredibly basic grade 9 french allowed us to squeak through although communication was not an issue. We tried and they tried with all we had and it was a great success!! We would definitely stay again and have already begun recommending this city and hotel to others. It was our favourite place to discover in France.

everything was great! It was clean and spacious and the bath tub large, the service great, that is all that matters.

This place has a central location near the church and provided us with a beautifully designed room featuring a shower, a king bed, and a lovely view.

Comfortable, clean with modern amenities and a friendly staff just a short walk from the Chartres Cathedral. There is an excellent restaurant in the hotel just be sure to make a reservation.

The venue met every demand. the restaurant was exceptional for dinner with excellent dishes. - All of the staff were very pleasant and exceptionally nice. - the central location was a plus. The service at dinner was very slow. We were not in complaining mood and in fact, we suspect they forgot about our starter. They were very apologetic and the meal was excellent and worth waiting for.

Great location.

Room small with poor ventilation. Would have liked a small fan in the room. Keeping window open at night meant lots of street noise all night and cigarette smoke from plaza below wafting up to room.

I had a great stay at this place with its lovely decor and a wonderful location near the charming old town.

Very comfortable hotel located in the centre of Chartres

Its location - very handy for the cathedral. The welcome, and the bar were good. The room had recently been refurbished, and was of a good standard, although its former, rather old shabby look hadn't been completely hidden. The bathroom, though small, was appointed with high standard furnishings (such as Grohe taps and Ideal Standard porcelain).

There is no parking, so we had to work out where the best place to park was (this could have been advised in the description on Booked.net, but wasn't). The breakfast was truly pathetic, and really let the place down, which would otherwise have been above average. Honestly, on the strength of the poor breakfast (very little choice, very poor quality food), I would not recommend the hotel, and would definitely not stay there again. Also, the staff in the morning were in their ordinary clothes, which is quite disconcerting and gives you an uncomfortable feeling.
